The Accidental Circus Cast – Past, Present, and Future!

Paolo Garbanzo – Director – Paul Hudert has performed for crowds all over the US and Europe, he’s been a member The Flying Karamazov Brothers, given a Lifetime Achievement Award by the International Juggling Association, and is the 2007-2008 winner of The International Jester Competition, making him the Official Jester of Muncaster Castle. He’s the first American in history to be an official Jester of an English castle!

Paul’s professional career started back in college. For six years Paul was the director of The Garbanzo Brothers, a comedy juggling troupe based in Richmond, Virginia. The Garbanzo Brothers traveled up and down the East Coast, performing at such venues as Hershey Park, The Kennedy Center, Baltimore Inner Harbor, and many other events and festivals.

Upon moving to the West Coast in 2001, Paul decided to go solo and started to perform on stage at San Francisco’s famous Pier 39, thus joining the ranks of San Francisco’s world famous buskers and street performers. website

Mab, Just Mab – Currently, Mab can be found monkeying around with the rest of the Cheeky Monkey Sideshow, which happens to also be DC’s longest running theatrical sideshow. Mab believes that every single person has superpowers. One of Mab’s super powers is the ability to find the shortest lane in at a toll booth. The other is the ability to walk on broken glass and hammer spikes into her face. Mab is a freak. You probably shouldn’t try that at home.  website

August – The Mezmer Society was founded in the Autumn of 2007 and fits loosely within the Tribal Fusion genre. Some of the elements that are fused include belly dance, cabaret performance, Romany music, foppish occultism, unapologetically pretentious Belle Epoque café living, goodwill, bad behavior, misappropriated pop songs, and the horribly misguided notion that one can try and squeeze an entire Balkan brass band into one accordion.
