What is the Accidental Circus you
ask?
Well, that's easy! We are a Modern
Medieval Gypsy Caberet!
Led by Ringmaster Paolo Garbanzo,
The Accidental Circus is a show containing amazing stunts,
belly dancers, fire eating, original music, juggling,
acrobatics, contortionists, aerialists, drama, comedy,
music, and much more. Click here to listen to our latest

The circus fills a stage with entertainment
all day long with a variety of shows set in a medieval
or renaissance theme (depending on your time frame),
culminating in one or two "spettacolo grande" (depending
on what the schedule calls for).
Our various smaller shows include:
- The Christopher the Afflicted contortionist
show,
- the Paolo Garbanzo juggling and fire-eating

- our belly dance show,
- musical performances,
- stunt and comedy shows,

Our main show, the Spettacolo Grande,
brings all our performers together for a grand show
that is not to be missed! Paolo, as the Ringmaster,
presents the best skills of the circus with intertwining
songs, dance, dramatic stunts,
and more than enough flair, bringing the fantasy of
the traveling performer to life!
We can also bring our skills to the
Royale parade, opening and closing gate
if you wish. Also during the smaller shows some of
our members can be interacting with patrons while
not on stage.
At the end of the day (perhaps right
after the Spettacolo Grande) our world reknowne
drummers Daveed and Mab can lead a drum jam
where we encourage the patrons to play along (also
the majority of the circus either plays drums or a
melody insturment). After the jam we begin a parade
with our patrons, lead them to the gate (or to the
market) and send them off with memories of music in
their hearts..
Our cast of characters have worked all
over the world performing with such acts as The
Jim Rose Side Show Circus, The Flying Karamazov
Brothers, Baraka Mundi (a nationally touring
belly dance ensemble), Suhaila Dance Company,
Turku (an international middle-eastern folk
group), Zippo's Circus, and many others. Also
many of our performers are masters of their art, teaching
around America and internationally at such notable
places as Circus Space in London, Scuola di Formazione
di Arti Circensi (School of Circus Arts) Turin, Italy,
and many more.
